Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The Results:

Johnny Nitro came out and interrupted Howard Finkle’s opening ceremonies, stating that he was in charge. Nitro said Bischoff had him hire someone to run the show the way HE saw fit, and Nitro chose hometown legend, Terry Funk. Funk came out and proceeded to punk Bischoff verbally, then punked Nitro physically. Funk said we should start things the West Texas way, by bringing out the chicks.

    Match 1:
WWE Women’s Champion, Victoria & Lita d. Molly Holly & Gail Kim(boring) -Typical match here, everyone worked hard, but the end came with the standard wig removal on Molly, which sent her scurrying, leaving Gail Kim to fall victim to the DDT from Lita.

The female theme continued, as Trish came out to introduce her man, Christian. She talked trash, we chanted “Slut”… you know, by the numbers.

    Match 2:
Christian w/ Trish Stratus(woooooo shes hotter as a heel) & Tyson Tomko d. Val Venis(jobber)
-Christian worked the crowd pretty good, but this match was slow. Trish helped her man get the distraction and the win. At one point Christian did his old “throwing a fit” routine… very entertaining. Val attacked Christian after the match, to which Tomko came out and booted Val in the face. That guy is HUGE in person.

    Match 3:
    Intercontinental Championship Match:
    (C) Randy Orton d. Shelton Benjamin(nothing but good things to say about this excellent ateletes)
-Surprisingly this match was third, and it was a hot one. The crowd was all over this match. Orton stalled and worked the crowd like a veteran. Shelton worked hard and got a few very close wins. Orton won with his feet on the ropes, which enraged the crowd; but it was a very entertaining match none the less.

    Match 4:
    Tajiri(underrated) d. Garrison Cade(overrated)
-The crowd was not into this match at all, which made me question why Coach wasn’t there to back up Cade. Without Coach, who has all the heat in the feud with Tajiri, Cade was just lost. The only time the crowd was hot in this one was when Tajiri hit his signature stuff, like the back-handspring elbow, the Tarantula and the Mist. Tajiri won after he misted Cade coming off the top rope and then hit him with the kick of death.

    Match 5:
    Kane d. Matt Hardy
-This match lasted about a minute and was a total squash. Poor Matt. Lita came out to save him from a post match beat down, but Kane almost killed her, until Terry Funk came down and got in Kane’s face. Kane was going to chokeslam Funk, but then Edge’s music hit and the place went CRAZY! Edge came from the crowd and speared Kane to a massive pop.

Next was an intermission, as they hocked merchandise and shot T-Shirts into the crowd.

Batista came out to little reaction, and ran down all of the bad things that have happened to Evolution over the last few weeks. Batista griped about being in Texas with no opponent to face, which was retarded because the program stated he was facing Rhyno. Anyway Rhyno ran out and we had a match.

    Match 6:
    Batista d. Rhyno
-Basically a quick squash, which was infuriating to guys like me, who love the old ECW characters. Poor Rhyno.

All of the participants them came out for the tag team match, but then Eugene and William Regal show up, followed by Johnny Nitro, and after some back and forth on the microphone, we have a 6-Man Tag.

    Match 7:
The Hurricane, Rosey(smell the ratings) & Eugene(???stupid storyline or what) w/ William Regal d. La Resistance & Johnny Nitro
-Tons of comedy in this one, with a nice happy ending. Nick Dinsmore is super over in his Eugene character. William Regal nailed Johnny Nitro with “The Power of the Punch” at one point. Fun match all around.

Finkel then came back and thanked us for being among the best fans in WWE. Oh yeah Howard, then how about a Raw here?

    Main Event:
    World Championship Match:
    (C) Chris Benoit d. Triple H{dont put anyone over!!!!)
-After tons of staling and working the crowd by Triple H, which he is the master of by the way, we got under way with an amazingly hot match. Benoit was near winning when he had a ref bump. Cue Evolution… Orton & Batista came out and tried to get at Benoit, who held them off until they double teamed him. Triple got a near fall, but then Benoit turned the Pedigree into the Crippler Crossface. Trips tapped out and the post match Evolution beat down began. Terry Funk came out and ran off Evolution single handedly. Wat the hell he is about 60 believable or what.

Benoit thanked Terry and they did the mutual admiration number to wrap up the show. 75% full audience, alright attendence.
