    Not sure if this should go here.

    I am trying to find out how the UK's A-Level system works. I need to compare it to the Leaving Cert system. I need to know things like Subject choices, how many subjects are taken, what the teaching method is, how are students graded etc.

    I have searched Google but keep getting 'Reform the A Level System' etc.
    So if anyone has any sites with this stuff or can give me a brief synopsis that would be great.

    Its 3 subjects your marked on I think. Huge number of subjects... someone said they are the equavelent to 1st year college courses here.

    Course work (Continious assement and final exams)

    Dont know much else.
