I know ppl arent too pushed on a rating system for user in relation to the for sale boards but
how about somewhere you can complain about ppl who have spoiled a sale or messed you about when you were trying to buy something from them.

There could be two lists - one for good experiences and one for bad. Then in the future when buying/selling something on boards, a quick search of these list will give you a good idea of the ppl you are dealing with

I thought about that, but don't threads get closed pretty quickly after an agreement is reached?

I think a simple forum with 1 sticky topic "Complaints"
People can create a topic and tell about what happened, a admin can them come along and lock the topic and then update the complant in the complaints list. Then lock the topic and add a link to the topic in question.

    Name

    Adegin Topic Link here
    Fed0e4 Topic Link here
    Zulu Topic Link here

Seems very simple and the admin wouldent have to do a whole lot of work.

We don't have a list as it requires way too much work and very little is really gaines from it.

If you look at it this way, ppl who "regularly" use the boards to sell stuff would soon get themselves classed as del boys (traders) and end up getting a one way ticket to the Sin Bin.

Also it is open to to much abuse. It wouks on auction sites because you only get to make a commnet on a use after you have completed a trade with them. We don't have any safe guard like that here.
