Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there something in particular YOU would never have the courage to wear?

    Things I would NEVER wear:

1- A white tee shirt underneath a shirt (no matter the colour of the shirt).

2- White socks (allowed only with runners)

You would never wear a white t-shirt under a shirt ? why ? what if it was cold... I dont understand that one...
In fact I dont understand the socks one either , socks are not important to me. Id wear any colour. You cant even see them for gods sake.

I would NEVER wear one of them puffy brightly coloured waist coat type things that guys started wearing a couple of years ago...dear god they were disgusting.

Id never wear one of those Hash/Weed Shirts....*shudder*

Doc Martins...Just really dont like them.

    Jeans that are pre-ripped.

    i dont like wearing...
    3/4 length jeans / shorts / trousers.
hooker boots with really large heels (small heels or flat soles are fine).
    those REALLY baggy jeans.

We had a non-uniform day the other week and it seems that half the people in the school were wearing a white long sleeved t-shirt with a black short t-shirt over it with generic angst band #7's logo. It looks ridiculous and in an attempt to look cool they end up looking more conformist than anyone who dresses normally.

i'd never wear those poncho thingys, stilettos shoes (only cos i cant walk in them)
anything with metal studs on.....or those big huge baggy hoodies that have things like Korn and Slipknot written across the front.

i'm far more comfortable in a pair of jeans, a nice top/t-shirt and i'd be lost without my runners.

I thought I would never wear a bum bag but was forced to as part of a job.

I can honestly say it had a seriously detrimental effect on my life. I'd be getting on well with people when I was standing behind the desk but then when I'd emerge their smiles would inevitable turn to horror.

I tied telling people "I have to wear this" but it really only made me seem more pathetic.

    I still have nightmares.....

-those horrible jeans with writing across the ass. precious? wtf? with your ass hanging out, hardly!
    -anything sparkly
-anything baby pink, baby blue, yellow (bright colours make me look awful)

any kind of tight underwear or underwear that isn't boxers. they're just horrible, horrible things.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,135 ✭✭✭KlodaX

uggs ... they are ugly .. why people why??? just cause Carrie from sex in the city wore them!

    http://www.uggaustralia.com/
i'd never wear those poncho thingys, stilettos shoes (only cos i cant walk in them)

ponchos and stilettos are lovely .. very pretty .. and the discomfort of the stilettos is overridden by the comfortable poncho! .. still, I wouldn't fancy wearing stilettos for any lenghty period of time

80s sucked... the comeback is funny ... you know those horrible flat pointy shoes .. that do nothing for nobody ... and can hardly be comfortable ... I saw someone wearing them ! ... give the girl a mirror

at least uggs are comfortable .. but for crying out load people .. they are a horrible fashion statement

Orange foundation (see UCD arts block for details)
The Microsoft t-shirts offered in work over Christmas.
    Uncomfortable shoes.
Thongs that stick out over jeans. yaargh...

I'd have to agree with you on the jeans, they really annoy me too, but I do like sparkly stuff. One thing I'd never wear, I think someone mentioned it earlier on, is shoes or a pair of heels, with tracksuit bottoms. Just imagine!

I was thinking of the ones with much bigger boxes on them. You'd always see a whole fleet of them in (some) clubs.
