Can anyone cast any light on this Sunday Times story ?
It seems very complicated but might be a good idea...
Victor do you know - was this discussed at the transport and taffic SPC of the City Council?

Yeah, I was wondering how to break it to the Motors board though. :D

This is the most accurate piece, the rest has been spun by the journo.
The new traffic plan will be introduced at the beginning of July as an emergency measure while the road at St Stephen’s Green West is rebuilt. But the council says that if the changes work, they will be made permanent.

    Nothing is final yet.

Any chance the City Council might be persuaded to publish their draft plan?
Any chance they will take the opportunity to make the green and its access routes a little more cycle friendly?
