Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's 2 pcs at home and I want one of them to connect via wireless to the netopia eircom modem. am i right in thinking that all i require is a router (which will connect to the dsl modem and hopefully connect directly to the pc via ethernet or usb(?)) and a wireless card for the 2nd pc?

I was looking around komplett but not so sure as to what I need. can someone post some recommendations from the komplett.ie site? thanx.

I was in a similar position this week. Didn't see anything on Komplett, but I did find what I wanted on www.dsl-warehouse.ie . I replaced the dsl modem with an all-in-one modem/router/firewall/wireless access point. All i needed for the laptop was a wireless card.

To use your existing modem, all you need is a wireless access point/router and a wireless pci card.
    You could try this router
    and this card

make sure you read up on securing your wireless network. plenty of information in other posts here.

The router's ethernet port will allow me to connect directly into a pc with a network card right?

It should do, but you might need a crossover cable.
