Well 45 mins have been played and the score is 2-1 in Chelseas favour!!

Did Gronkjaer mean it??? Nevertheless it was a nice goal

Chelseas second goal was well worked, Gudjonson played a nice first time through ball, and Lampard, under pressure from the centre half curled it into the corner!

Chelsea could have had more, but the keeper (Roma) impressivley saved several shots from Geremi and Lampard, and Gudjonson hit the bar with a header from 3 yards out from a beautiful cross by Hasselbaink.

Monaco have been defending deep, but have made several good counter-attacks, with Morientes hitting the post, and minutes later curling it agonisingly wide with the outside of his boot with only the keeper to beat!

The Monaco goal was a well worked one, but Melchiot was terrible! A cross came in Morientes headed it goalwards and it hit the post and LOOKED TO COME OFF THE GUYS HAND!!!

Chelsea now require 2 to win, 1 goal will force it into Extra Time!
