Annoying service light

    Volvo got it serviced by a mate. Now the service light is on when I start the car. How can I get rid of it without going to a volvo dealer.

    Same here.
    AFAIK, you can't get it done, third party - so to speak.
    Ring a Volvo garage and see if they'll do it for a nominal fee ?
    Might be worth an outside shot if it annoys ya, let me know if you do :)

    unfortunately Haynes dont do my series of car or i would have a go at taking the wire out, but couldnt be bothered tracing the wire without the book
