    Hi,

recently moved up to dublin (from limerick) and now im looking for a gaming shop that sells rpg stuff. I found Forbidden Planet (easy enough :D ) and games workshop. I hear rumours though of another shop somewhere.

    Anyone care to enlighten me?

    Thx

Sub city on the junction of wicklow street and Geroges street

Cant remember the name or if they do roleplaying stuff but there is a comic shop on Crow street (temple bar, same street as the foggy dew pub)

Other one being 4th Dimension .. downstairs, below the comic shop bit. Its only open Saturday and Sunday though. Does RPGs, CCGs and Clix stuff. I normally take a browse through every weekend.

    Your main options are:

Forbidden planet (I forget the name of the quay this is on but it's near the south side of the hapenny bridge). Their selection of gaming stuff isn't great and they're a bit pricey but if you're desperately looking for a book and the other places have sold out then you can give it a try.

Sub City on the george's st end of wicklow st. The selection is pretty good and the prices aren't too bad.

The fourth place (or is it third? I can't remember offhand). During the week it's a normal unassuming comics and action figure store but at the weekend the basement is open for business (and only on the weekend last I heard), the selection is very good and the prices are generally lower than anywhere else in the city. More to the point, the guy who runs it is very professional, knows his release dates and rarely stocks crap. I do all my buying there, I highly reccomend it.

3rd Place on Crow Street in Temple Bar, only has game stuff open on saturday afaik but possibly sunday. They'll let you run a game there if you ask, and they'll order stuff in on your advice if you agree to pay for any that don't sell.
