    Are there any Socket 940 nforce3 250gb boards available yet? if so, where and how much? most links i have gotten are to athlon 64 boards, i am looking for an nforce3 250gb board for the athlon 64fx. Please can anyone help? thanx

    Socket 940=opteron
    nForce250Gb = Socket 939 and 754.

    And no, not really available yet.

    Sorry socket 939 is actually the new athlon fx chips that are not out yet, socket 940 is used for opteron and Athlon fx 51 and 53 Cpu's.

    I have not heard anything about nforce3 250 being made for the 940 sockets. Only the 754 and 939 so far.

    AFAIK the Nf250's are comming out for the Socket940 also, and i think that includes the dual opertrons........ I think there due shortly after the 754 ones come out.

    NF3-250 Gb should be available in all 3 AMD sockets see here (From tomshardware )
