    Publisher Capcom Entertainment today announced that it is in development with Viewtiful Joe 2 for GameCube and PlayStation 2. The sequel to 2003's hit beat-'em-up is scheduled to ship in America this winter for both systems, the company said

    i wasnt bothered about ti thought it was PS2 only.

    Unless it changed in the last 24 hours it's coming out on the Gamecube, or maybe Nintindo are just lying.

    I remember when it was originally announced for both consoles, along with a PS2 port of the original Viewtiful Joe.

    At E3 they confirmed DS and PSP versions of the game.

    The sequel will be your standard followup. All I know is it will have a two-player co-op mode. :)

    VJ2 has always been for Gamecube. The original was on cube, and sold really well. The original was planned to be ported to PS2 but Sony rejected it for some crazy reason. VJ2 will be on GC and PS2 though.

    ps2 will be getting the original before the sequel. and dante from devil may cry makes an appearance. dont believe me. have a look at the developers website

    They seem to have this thing against non "mature" games. ie. its pretty much in 2D , so they dont like the image that gives them or some crap like that
