Possible Virus/Spyware

    I have ran Adaware, and Spybot search and destroy , along with mc Afee virus scanner, all with the latest updates, and it has not removed this. Can anyone identify what it is? Its really annonying, pops up every 5 or 10 minutes, and i cant seem to identify it from the processes running. Thanks

    You installed a smiley program prolly got it from MSN when you seen a smiley you didnt have.

    Uninstall it ,think its called fun central.

    Id install a popup blocker if i were u.. that will sort that problem out.. u can get them free from anywhere really download.com etc

    or you could juist ditch Internet Explorer and install a proper browser like Firefox etc which have built in pop up stopper technology....

    Dunno what it calls itself once installed but latest adaware with new reference file should kil it ,otherwise its name that process game for you :)

    you need to down load a couple of free programs
    hijack this
    cws shredder

    open your own topic
    run hi jack this
    post your log file
    wait
    someone will get back to you with
    detailed instructions on what to remove

    when you are finished get spybot search and destroy
    run it regularly to get rid of spyware malware
    this is all free these guys are just helping you out

    also get sevice pack 2 for windows xp if you have it
    has new firewall popblocker seems to work well
