Search button on front page

    Hi,

    Sometimes the first thing I want to do when I visit Boards is to do a search, but I can't see a search button on the front page.

    It means I have to open up a random thread/forum, and then click on search. I know it's just one extra click, but I think it would be a good idea to add a Search button to the front page.

    aggreed have done this many times my self think it would be good to have it in under the user CP on the home page

    Would be a nice addition to boards, there's been many the time when I've wanted to search from the front page.

    I'll try and fit it in somewhere now. Not allowing the three letter searches, sorry. We're poorly optimised for most searches as it is right now already :(

    How about plugging in google as the site search instead of the vBulletin one?

    Well, I don't think that would work as a direct replacement for our search, but it is a nice idea for those who are trying to find a TLA.
