    what's the story mode like?
    from the marketing blurb i seem to remember hearing that it'd have an rpg story mode with a 30+ hour lifespan

    It's fun, i got it on friday. the RPG mode has quite a few differences from the GBA games, such as no long grass to go through catching wild pokemon. You have a 'snag machine' which is used to steal certain 'shadow pokemon' during a battle. To use your ruby/sapphire team in colosseum, you have to have the GC/GBA link cable, but if you've raised a decent team in the RPG mode you can use them too. It's such an 'i'm procrastinating about studying' game...

    my mates already take the piss out of me for having a "kiddy console". quite how they'd react if they knew i'd gone out & bought a pokémon game...:dunno:

    Buy it! It comes with a free memory card anyway... and i got slagged to death in work this weekend over buying it!

    I have only seen a bit of it but it looks quite similar to some of the final fantasy games, 7 in particular. I can only wish its that good :)

    So it's actually a full self-conatained game as opposed to the other Collesium games? I might track it down.

    Just ignore the slaggings and weird looks. It doesn't matter if its a kiddie RPG series. What matters is that its a damn fine RPG series and should be played by young and old alike. You don't deserve the slaggings. Unless you start looking at the cartoon. Like I did.

    So a box comes for him with porn written on it. A friend opens it and finds a pokemon game. He'd get less slaggings if he just admitted he played pokemon.
