Apparently Royston never turns up for UCD Governing Authority meetings either, even though he's on the body as lord mayor. Never mind, those "Vote Royston" posters on Fair City will probably go a long way.

Did he never pay back that money for the wedding then? He said he would.

I don't know, but the e-mail address on his a free one from the city council (dublin.ie). He has never attended council Transport & Traffic Committee meetings either. Makes you wonder what he has spent his last doing.

I dont think I will vote along party lines in the European elections. If either Patricia McKenna or Joe Higgins were to be elected they would provide a very vocal presence in the European parliament. I normally vote Labour and so see merit in both candidates mandates.
I feel Brady would be fairly anonymous within Europe and would only see him again when he's seeking re-election or seeking a nomination in a future general election.

Just my 10 cent, my 2 cent's free!

voteing mary lou myself, only wantabee MEP who called to my house HERSELF....

Is that your only reason for giving her a vote? Jaysus, you must be an easy pushover.

Just voted as follows:

1. Evana Bacik

2. Patricia McKenna

3. Proinsias De Rossa

4. Gay Mitchell

5. Brendan Price

6. Tom Prendeville

How has anybody else voted?

I will be voting McKenna, Bacik (sorry DeV), and DeRossa on account of their stance against the current proposed EU software patent bill.

Bad karma all 'round if it goes through for the indigenous IT companies

Ivana Bacik topping the poll? Leinster is not my constituency, but I think Dubs voting for that insufferable woman want their head examined.

Well its better than voting for Justin Barrett :)

People probably know how I voted but I put Royston and Mary Lou at the bottom of the list ;)

Polling was extremely brisk in my area with the polling station the busiest I have seen it in years. Either FF have got everyone out or there is a lot of pissed off people protest voting!!!

Heh - the polling station was absolutely packed, as Gandalf said (we're ariound the corner from each other), and I knwo of people who have travelled from as far as Galway to vote in this one!

FF are boned .....

I didn't vote for _ANY_ FF, PD, Shinner, or Workers Party (with the exception of Higgins at MEP level). I made a point of casting 6 votes in each election paper to show my utter disatisfaction with the above
