    Anyone else having poor ping times on Iol Bb. Thery are over the place for the last few hours.

    Yep, I've noticed horrible spikes on all servers for the past week or so along with an (on average) higher ping than usual.
    So many flopped rocket/grenade jumps.
    Other people I know are having the same problem.

    Maybe it's the 16Gig cap making everyone clog up the network with constant downloads?

    I'd urge anyone who likes online gaming not to subscribe to this shitty sub-standard service.
    It's the new No-Limits as far as I can see.

    Its been perfect for me ages now, pretty consistent, even tho pings have increased a tiny bit, talking about 5ms. On plus aswell 16gig etc.

    iolbb cabra exchange.
    not seen any problems and i'm well happy with my in game pings. will post ping results when i get home tonight.

    I got 83 to www.google.com
    Maybe you guys are downloading something? Kazzaa or something? Or maybe you have spyware eating your bandwith

    you must be on esatbt business rather than iol to get those pings? afaik its almost impossible to get below 29ms to jolt using any of the radsl packages. My m8s in england cant even get anything below 30ms to jolt.

    Nope im on IOL broadband plus bundled with the telecom service (bundle 5 i think on the site) I pay €39,99 a month, have 16gb cap and 24:1 contention ratio. However the local eircom exchange is just up the road about.. oh... 600Mtrs away maybe? Tat might help.
