Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interested to know what fans from different clubs consider the turning point of their season was.(both good and bad)

As a United fan the Ferdinand episode was the start of the problems and to a lesser extent the disallowed Scholes goal vs Portos- had they won that night I think they would be looking at 2 finals in the next week.

    As a Liverpool fan:

we turned that many corners, we did 73 laps of Silverstone

    Villa Fan

Turning point was beating Chelsea in the League Cup, Angel's wonder strike was amazing, we gathered pace from there really.

What, the dodgy cross you mean?

What also had a major bearing on Manchester United's season was the whole John Magnier thing.

Once again, I don't know what to say about Liverpool... So many what if's!!! They really are the most unpredicatable shower of tossers, one week they can have an absolutely savage game and the next week be absolutely brutal!!

Wrong game, it was a strike from about 30 yards out.

Van Nistelrooy missing the pen, no unbeaten run...i reckon Arsenal would lost a few more games too....

The disallowed goal but also the dodgy freekick decison in the last few minutes....

Liverpool - The away game against Blackburn. Milan Baros and Jamie Carragher both breaking their legs.

It's not fair to say Fulham's turning point was when they sold Saha because it wasn't, we were losing quite occasionally before we sold him, it's hard to say when the turning point of the campaign was, I think the turning point was when we failed to beat or draw Leeds, that sort of shattered our spirits a bit, and ending up losing three matches in the five that was played that month.

For Liverpool. When Owen got fit again and started to gel with Heskey - pushed us into 4th spot.

arsenal - ashley cole's goal against dinamo kiev.

rvn hitting the bar from the spot at OT, might have lost vital momentum in the league after that.

edu and vieira hitting the bar/post against united at villa park, the treble might have still been on if either one had went in.

Bad point : Champions league loss to Partizan Belgrade .

Terible point : losing Woodgate against Chelsea , and learning he's injury prone :(
