Anyone see this article about a lucky old carthorse bought from his owner to be given happy retirement in the country on the estate of the aristocrat? I'd love to know what the coalman who used to own him has to say.

Westport Lord fined €10,000 for ill-treating old horse
AN ageing former coal-horse called Silver presented a 'dreadful' sight to veterinary inspectors when they examined it on the grounds of Westport House Country Park last summer, a court heard yesterday.
