iPod to PC transfer??

I've accidently deleted all my iTunes playlists etc. Now when I connect the iPod, iTunes wants to remove all the lists I've set up on the Pod. Is it possible to transfer the listings back to iTunes anyone know?. Thanks.

Plugin it in and dont open itunes ,when itshows as an external drive copy the files over tru explorer.
