back whe i was 15 getting tattoos was suddenly all the rage and every skanger around had one. some of the woprst ones i've seen are:

~a red devil with MUFC underneath it on a girls tit even though she freely admitted she had no idea what the letters stood for!

~all the millions of skangers with that stupid looking fighting leprechaun thingy

~a fella with a HUGE tattoo of Taz down his forearm. its just wrong on a 45 year old man! (on anyone for that matter)

~a fella i know wants to get a circle on the inside of his wrist and has been going on for weeks about how its "the best tattoo ever cos it represents so much"......the guy drew it on to show us what size he was thinking of and it was pretty much like he used a 10c coin for the outline! i'd loev to see the look on the tattooists face when this tosser asks for it!

A guy I know has a taz on his arm wearing boxing gloves, looks so stupid... he also has a dragon flying over buildings across his back... now its a great looking picture, the artist was very talented (he says it was the same guy who did the tattoos for Reign of Fire) but it just looked shít as a tattoo... most dragon tattoos do though, Ive only seen a handful of classy ones.

oh, and one that i think is extremely tacky (up there with a mom love heart), is the Tri-Colour, and Eire underneath it... or something like that.

I've seen a lot of truly bad ones. Here goes:
Skinhead from London wanted OI! on his forehead, went to a bad artist so it looks like it says OIL.
Punker with "USDA Prime Beef" down his jaw line.
Guy got a dotted line around his big toe, on his foot says "Place tag here". He was shot dead a week later.
Met a guy the other day has an old granny with saggy tits hanging out on his bicep.
Not to mention all of the bad "amatuer" artist's work. Where I grew up tattooing is illegal, so there were a lot of bad artists just dying to scratch something into someone.
Oh yeah, I have a fly tattoo (it's just a dot with wings), we had about 5 spare minutes and my friend (an actual pro artist) said what do you want? It was the only thing I could think of, but I'm getting ready to get it covered up.

Worst one ive seen is a manchester united crest,badly inked with horribly uneven shading and the script at the bottom that read MAN UTD wasnt actually supposed to look like bubble writing.
Or look like a seven year old coloured it in, for that matter.


oh and a tribal half-armband that has a thin and uneven black outline with washed out blue filling.it looked awful.

Just the other day I saw a chick in town with 'FCUK' tattooed on the small of her back. VERY badly; there were blow-outs all over the thing. Urgh. Her boyfriend was wearing a delightful tee-shirt with PU55Y INSP3KT0R plastered across the front of it - delightful couple, I'm sure.

One of my second cousins has: the Weetabix kids tattooed up his leg, a dotted line around his neck with the inscription 'cut here,' and a big Cramps tattoo on his pec. Totally punk rock. *eyeroll*

the two guys out of new band 'The Odds', who are playing the point next year despite being no-bodies and not even having a full line up got stupid tattoos IMO (check http://www.playthepoint.com, theres a video of them being done).

They got 07.05.05 which is the date of their point gig. I can see what they were getting at, and I'm sure it'll be something to remember for them for good or bad reasons, but its a stupid looking tattoo all the same.
