Does anyone know anything about this crowd?

According to them, they don't resell €ircoms product and provide their own DSL?

They're talking rubbish. IIRC they're reselling Esat's product.

No, I mean they're reselling Esat's wholesale RADSL, which is available in all the exchanges in Ireland that have been upgraded for dsl by eircom.

It may seem rather odd, but Esat/BT resell radsl services that eircom resell to Esat/BT in the first place. Esat/BT offer smaller ISPs a complete DSL service, so the only thing the ISPs need to do themselves is plug their internet connection and servers into Esats network. Esat handle all the backhaul and adsl specific tech. This means the smaller isps don't have to employ a load of extra staff to specifically service their DSL network saving them money, while Esat put the staff that they already have for DSL specific work to full use, giving Esat a nice little earner.

Afaik only Esat/BT and Smart Telecom have proceeded with any LLU here.
