Is this the Doom 3 official release date?

    Hmmm. Reading on the www.gamershell.com forums, apparrently activision europe confirmed Doom3 for july 14th. Could be b0llocks? Who knows, but its the closest thing to a firm date ive heard.
    Doom 3 3 weeks away?! A man can dream, cant he... :D

    Ignore the release date that has been posted at the top of this page. Instead, pay attention to what the people at ID Software stated: this game will be released "WHEN IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!". Personally, I was naive enough to believe that this game would actually be released on June 15th.

    Yeah ive seen that, however this new date is supposed to have come from activision (publishers of the game) themselves. So who knows. Probably just wishful thinking but hey what can ya do ;)
