See Here and also Here For The Current Prices in Detail .

This is where the IOL offer we heard about over the weekend is coming from , it appears that the Eircom Marketing Dept has not kicked in quite yet but just wait till next week.

    The 2 promotions are

    1. Suck it and see €120 off (ex VAT) in the form of 3 months rent free. NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY.

    2. Or a €120 upgrade for FRIACO users without sucking anything.

But not both promotions :ninja: I would seem to understand lest one cease the line and reconnect (with anew number) and then get FRIACO straight off and hup , <cough> . Both promotions last till November

Each access provider is entitled to avail of the FRIACO upgrade discount during a single 30 day period between 24th May 2004 and 30th November 2004. And you have to be signed up as a FRIACO user for a minimum of 3 months before you qualify, so if any of the FRIACO providers decide to offer this discount now, then it will have expired before anyone who signs up for FRIACO today is eligible.
    The
Access Seeker can avail of this promotion at a time
of their choosing with a Promotional Period of any 30
successive days between 24th May 2004 and 30th
November 2004. The Access Seeker shall notify
eircom to indicate the start date of their promotion.
Applicable subscribers must be active on the
Bitstream product for a minimum of 3 months, after
which eircom will pay the Access Seeker a rebate per
    eligible subscriber.

I'm not quite sure why eircom is offering a discounted port transfer fee, as the other promotion only applies to people who have never been connected before.

It is not obligatory to run both promotions in the same 30 day period from what I make of it.

IOL are running the suck it n see at the moment while Eircom may be kicking off with the FRIACO upgrade one.

The "New user" promotion isn't restricted to 30 days - it applies to all first-time bitstream subscribers added between 1st of June 2004 to
    30th November 2004.
