Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Selling a mobile number

Does anyone know if this has been done in the irish market?

The story is my auntie rang me the other day with this incredibly easy to remember mobile number - so easy i actually thought is was some sort of a code that the provider was using to block her number - when i asked, she said that yes, it was her new ready to go phone she just got.

Is there a market for this? Is it legal? Is it better that it's ready to go - ie she can easily transfer it to whomever she wants?

Id love to get something for my dear auntie if its possible.

Well I've seen it on ebay.co.uk, there does seem to be a market for really easy to remember numbers.

Luck of the draw.. i dont think they can be sold here BUT if someone has a pay as you go sim they could in theory sell it on boards or buy and sell. I know of numbers that are all 8's and 6's in sequence..

incedentally i know someone with a 7 digit mobile number where the first three digits are the same and the last four digits are 2600
