    Hi all,

I'm running Win XP home edition on a pc, works fine but when I try to shutdown or restart, it freezes just before it shuts down, the fans are even shut down, this has led to the PC getting extremly warm (hot).
I've just installed the usual M$ patches for it, but i hadn't installed anything when this started.

    Any Ideas?

    Tks
