Dundalk - Eircom Down

    Eircom BB down since Sunday 2pm, I rang this morning, Biddy said construction b0rked up a pipe or something. Anyone know if its back up?

    We have just got confirmation that Eircom "are aware of connection issues
    with 04x numbers - this is due to fibre damage which occurred on Saturday".

    Eircom say that it will be late tonight before this fibre break is resolved.

    I will post updates as I get them.

    Aye, same here on UTV DSL.
    Just up now - after being down most of the weekend :(
    Was told by support that it was a fibre cut.

    I'd just like to say a big thank you to Eircom / Generic Construction Co. for depriving the entire F*CKING REGION of Broadband for over 36 hours. I know I, for one, felt very proud to have passed through the same education system as these monkeys.
