    Development of Cork Bus Station

    Work will begin on the development of Parnell Place Bus Station on Monday next, 31 May 2004.

    All bus services will continue to operate with some minor relocation of departure points (from Monday 31 May) as follows:

    The 223 service (up to & incl. 18.20 hours) to Rochestown, Passage, Monkstown, Ringaskiddy and Haulbowline will depart from Lapps Quay (Connolly Hall) (after 18.20 hours this service will depart from the Bus Station, Bay 10).

    Route 224 serving Blarney and Tower will depart from St. Patricks Quay (near St. Patricks Bridge).

    Services to East Cork will depart from Deane St. (at the eastern end of the Bus Station); these include routes 240, 241, 260 and 261 serving Carrigtwohill, Midleton, Youghal, Ardmore, Cloyne, Ballycotton, Whitegate and Trabolgan.

    Route 222 serving Carrigaline, Crosshaven and Fountainstown will depart from Parnell Place (western side of Bus Station).

    Construction work will be completed by early 2005.
