Upon leaving TeamSpeak, is it possible to get the "player left" changed to something like "the syco left", etc?

I know you can change the sound under Setting > Options > Sound Notifications, but is that just for you, or would it sound to everyone else to hear when you leave.

It's be nice, as we'd know who left.

Maybe if you recorded your own sound file to be played when a particular person leaves it might work. Don't know how to though :dunno:

It doesn't look like teamspeak can.

Ventrilo does it, it uses a text to speech converter to say it. It works nicely. It's a pity it costs a bit of money to have more than 8 people connected to a server. It's a much better piece of software otherwise.

    DaDs?

Do you have it professionally hosted, or are you running the bog standard server? Any experiences with any voice-hosts?

There's an Irish Ventrilo server up on games2.iol.ie

The 8 user limit was implemented on version 2.2

    We are using 2.1.2

    Grab it here - http://netsoc.dkit.ie/~anarki/quake/ventrilo_2.1.2.exe

    Sweet.

Thing is 2.2 lets you bind any directinput key to your "speak" button...

so I'm able to have the thumb button on my mouse bound to that, which is deadly. 2.1 doesn't.

But anyway, it's all good. cheers :)
