    sendit.com (formally blackstar.co.uk) are having a "Cheap as chips" VHS clear out - all VHS's listed in the promotion are £1.99 sterling but that includes P&P to Ireland ... got a few bargains today .... Nightmare On Elm St Trilogy Box Set is in there !!!

    Will Irish videos work on american systems? Or is the PAL encoding a problem?

    edit: PAL encoding looks like it would be a problem.

    No , Irish Video's won't work on US systems .... don't ask me the technical reasoning why , but Ireland / UK are PAL , the US are NCTS or whatever ...
