Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scenic Holiday with Wife and 1yr old?

    Hi

    Looking for some advice on where to go on holidays for last two weeks in July please!

    Would like to go to somewhere scenic (ideally France, maybe Spain of Portugal) that we can drive around and work from a base or perhaps move from one location to another.
    Seems all the ferries are booked by now and thus need to arrange a fly drive.

    Want somewhere where we can have AirCon in case it gets to hot for the little one.

    Open to all ideas, think a short direct flight is best for a hyper active 1 yr old!
    Going from Dublin.

    I am doing the same thing this year.
    I wanted something different and wanted to see a nice bit of scenery so i am going to lake como in northen italy and we are bringing our 18 month old.
    We booked the flights to milan with aer lingus and rented the car with aircon from hertz,and we are renting a house from my parents friends.
    It is working out at half the price of a package holiday plus we have the car.
