accessing network shares over 200gigs

    i get this error when trying to access network shares on my usb 300gig drive formatted as a 279GB NTFS partition on windows 2000

    "not enough server storage is available to process this command"

    ive goggled it etc but..
    registry fixes no joy

    has anyone else experienced this prob on 2k/xp or 2k3 ??

    I've no problem access shares > 500Gb on W2K.

    What SP level are you at?

    Try doing it the Dos way - I find it bypassess a lot of misc sharing problems.

    from a cmd prompt.

    net view \\pcnameOrIPAddress
    net use * \\pcnameOrIPAddress\sharename

    “Roll it back”
