Not spawning

After a few minutes on any server I can't spawn anymore. I can see the spawn points but all I get is spawn point not selected even when I can see selected spawn point. I haven't found anything on the net about this yet except someone saying he has this prob since yesterday and only by disabling punkbuster can he continue!…

BTW this only started around 4 or 5 this afternoon 6 June 2004

OK This is getting weird I cannot spawn into some servers but others e.g. Viet-Navan no problem, mind you I don't know how long I could stay on navan as no one else on. Whats going on ?

Well, since Punkbuster is disabled on Navan it seems to be a PB problem.

I've never heard of this problem before. Is your PB updated.

After weeks of fun and games with Punkbuster:mad:, I think I've cracked it

From BFV disc 3 run Punkbuster setup ( this uninstalls punkbuster)
Restart PC
Remove all files and registry entries relating to Punkbuster for BFV (careful if you're using other games with Punkbuster)
Restart PC
Run setup for Punkbuster from BFV Disc 3
connect to a problem server(where you were not spawning) EAUK servers for me
Let Punkbuster update itself automatically

I found for some reason that both restarts were necessary (Windows 2000) as the problem would reappear after a short time.

This is now 24 hours and problem has not reappeared so fingers crossed its fixed at last

i've had the same problem, got kicked from a uk server by punkbuster cause i'd some packet loss .. i.e. i was obviously cheating as some of my packets were being dropped. its a stupid anti-cheat proggy, always was, always will be.
