Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

According to the News of the World.
Juan Pablo Angel has turned down a contract offer from Villa.
The contract would have seen him as the highest paid player at Villa park, and was apparently worth £35,000 a week.
but Angel believes that he deserves more considering his sensational form last season and his loyalty to the club.
Its alerted some of the top European clubs like Valentia.

Oh well, another reason why Villa need a better Chairman :/

    .... exactly.

There was a statement on the Villa website not so long ago that the deal had been verbally agreed between the player and the club through his agent. The only reason it hasn't been signed is becasue Angel was away at the Copa America at the time. He's since been injured and has remained in South America for treatment and time with his family during the close season.

As soon as he gets back it'll be signed. And I doubt it's for as much as £35,000 a week.

He has one year left on his current deal AND Villa have the option of another 12 months after that so there's no rush...

Him & O'leary are best mates now anyway....

    He's goin' nowhere!

This is the same paper who 12 months ago said that villa were putting Darius Vassel on the transfer list because David o Leary "didnt want him in his plans".There is no substance in that story.

one is more likely to find a picture of jordans knockers in that paper than some decent transfer speculation.
