It would appear to be in only one area - presumably a single ward / constituency - not the whole county.

Cllr's death leads to election postponement
    08 June 2004 18:20

The Department of the Environment has confirmed that the Mid Roscommon local election has been postponed until 19 June.

This is due to the sudden death of Fine Gael councillor Gerry Donnelly.

The Fine Gael leader, Enda Kenny, said it was with great regret that he had heard of his death.

He said Mr Donnelly had represented the people of Roscommon with pride and integrity.
