My sister is over in spain on holiday and she said she was in a few camera shops over there and they are really cheap,
a Sony T1 is €749 on the sony website, but she has been into 2 shops and one has it for €400 and another has it for €265, the guy in the €400 shop says the other shop sells fakes? Has anyone heard of Fake high end tech equipment? She has seen them working and they look fine?

also if a camera takes Sony DUO memory sticks will the normal memory sticks fit into them?

    Thanks

the ones that take duo will only take duo, so you cant use a noral ms in it, you can, however use the duo in something that takes a normal sized memory stick tho cos you get an adapter with the duo.

The T1 is being sold for around €569 here now, so it is gradually coming down.

Havnt seen anything about fakes tho, the only similar thing ive seen is people being sold this http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews6498.html as a sony camera , with a dodgy looking sony sticker on it.

ye, she just bought 2 T1's and they are real, they were in a sealed sony box and the serial numbers match, she got them for €380 with a 128MB Sandisk DUO included. cant wait to get my hands on it!

Ill let ye know if its cool.
