Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll be visiting Ireland in Sept. We want to visit Roscommon. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on Roscommon. Relatives were originally from there. We're starting out in Shannon and then making our way to Dublin. I'm a little worried about being ripped-off after reading some of the other posts. Also can anyone tell me how long it would take to get to Roscommon from Shannon? Appreciate it.

Bus Eireann would probably be your cheapest and best bet. There are definitely buses going from Shannon to Roscommon but not necessarily through the part of Roscommon you'll be going. Take a look at the Bus Eireann site, I'm sure you can plan a route to where you need to get. As for time to get there? Who knows, if you were driving I'd say about three hours, transport here however is notorious for delays.

I really appreciate it. We're considering renting a car but I'm kind of nervous about driving on the opposite side. Thanks so much!
