Hey guys. Just like to let you know about a gig coming up at the Boom Boom Room this Friday 18th.

Following a sell out gig at the Olympia last Saturday, an opportunity to catch “A TASTE OF RORY” – a celebration of the music of Irish Blues Legend Rory Gallagher in the more intimate confines of the BBR stage. It’s the first Blues gig I’ll be putting on so your support would be really appreciated! It should be a great gig!

    “A TASTE OF RORY” info

Due to the tremendous interest in the reissue of the late Rory Gallagher's back catalogue, a new Dublin based band has been formed in his honour. The name of the band is A TASTE OF RORY, and includes the cream of Irish rock.

A TASTE OF RORY have played all the major venues in Ireland ( e.g. Vicar St., The Olympia etc.), garnering a loyal
(and sizeable!) following of R.G. fans, both old and new.

The set is a 'best of' Rory G. - everything from 'Same Ol Story' from the TASTE days to 'Walk on Hot Coals' from the classic 'Irish tour 74' era, including an acoustic set, plus originals in the Gallagher style.

Admission is €7 to PHANTOM BOARD MEMBERS. (Mention PHANTOM FM at the door to receive discount). Normal price €10. Valid student card will get you in for a fiver!
