    Dates? Times? Exact Location? Cost?

Sheesh, that a bloody vague post if it's supposed to be advertising the event.

Theres a link to the event in his sig.

I fancy it meself. I've never actually taken my pc to one of these things, just got back into the whole pc thing after a law off of a few years. Im much more of a single player person. Anybody know what kind of "Lan Bits" exactly I would need to go along?

    Cheers

    Chris

    Yep there is :)

We hope to see you there, General Lan bits - A network cable (Just in case) A network card (usually onboard these days) Thats all you'd need.

Multiplayer has far more potential than single player, I highly recommend you give the event a try :)

Right lads, just checked my MB, and according to the website I've got onboard:

LAN 802.3u, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, WOL supported

Its a K7vm4 mothboard, that up to scratch for the old Lan event?

    Cheers

I'm in westmeath at the minute, so there's no chance of that. Ah, hopefully i'll be working by then. I could bring my PC up to smithfield, but i'm sure if i'm desperate enough to go i'll sort something out with someone.
