Fiat Brava cd player

Regarding the Fiat Brava sx , the tape deck that comes with this is in-built into the dash , Has anyone any experience of replacing this with a cd player ? is it a case of keeping the moulding and removing the tape unit itself or will it only take standard Fiat approved cd players etc ?? cheers Fionn
