Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you have been watching the Swizz-Croatia, Sweden-Bulgaria and Czech-Latvia match you will have noticed the Irish flag with Cork City written on it. It has been mentioned on RTE Radio 1, RTE Net 2 and BBC Radio 5. I have a sister living in London and she's saying a load of people have been asking her about it.

Fair play to them. I'm sure they'll be at a few more matches, they could also have been at other matches out of the camera's view.

Apparently there's this Irish footy fan who's a real nutcase and every finals tournament draws up an itinary to visit EVERY GROUND and see EVERY SINGLE team during the run of the tournement at least once . He's been doing it since Mexico 86 and has managed it every time so far - even for the JapanKorea tournment which I'd have considered logisitically impossible to achieve?

Anyway, maybe he's involved with the flag popping up all over the place - tho contracticing that I vaguely remember it said he came from Ennis? Meh, if a Serb can play for Sweden, a Canadian for England and a Brazilian for Germany then anythings likely.

yeah, i remember something like that being said. seen the flag 3 times now or something.

on a different note, i know just about every country does it, but isn't writing stuff on a national flag not allowed, or if there is no law on it, it is disrespectful? i heard this somewhere, but i could've heard wrong.

Wasn't there an Irish fan that used to the same but for Irish games moreso?

I think he used to get sponsored from his local pub I think?

    "Davey Keogh, Says Hello"

Think that 's what it used to read.
