Convert .pdf to .doc

    Anyone know how to convert a .pdf file to a .doc file easily (for editing etc.)?

    Try acrobat distiller.

    You can copy the text and graphics out into word using the text / graphics select tool, but not the page as a whole. For certain PDF files these teels don't always work. Otherwise you will require Adobe Acrobat.

    Just Copy and paste the text if the security settings allow. (click on the T icon)

    Otherwise
    get pdfcreator on http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator
    printer - options - format - choose one of tif / jpg / bmp

    this will convert pdf's to images.

    then get http://www.simpleocr.com/ and use it to convert the image back into text.

    Note: pdf creator will also allow you to make pdf's - with normal acrobat 5 settings like - not printable etc.
