So either Comreg's got it wrong, or Eircom are lying, or there has been a massive surge in Eircom's subscribers since the end of March. I know which two I would bet on.

the signup rate was c.1500 a week. Eircom reported at end May , it is plausible Mr M .

Eircom count all the DSL connections in the country bar the ESAT Business products .
