    from the dropdown menu> boards.ie > newsgroups > alt.languages.irish

    i was trying to find my way around the new menu system and clicked on this by accident and theirs some pretty explicit posts in there and seem to link to porn sites(i didnt click on em so not sure), whats the craic here?

    It's the big bad interweb not much you can do about it really.

    I suggest putting a disclaimer at the top of the newsgroup page saying something along the lines of

    "The Newsgroup area contains messages which are external to Boards.ie, we do not and cannot admin the internet. (though we plan to one day)"

    never really got into newsgroups tbh, so it never occured it was external. still all thats there is porn links. maybe it should be scrapped.
