A more direct translation would be 'We ourselves' in English or 'Nous meme' in French. You simply take the first person plural participle and emphasise it.

Curiously enough (don't ask) I came across the national anthem of Vanuatu which translates into English as 'We We We.' Which is a pretty emphatic form of the first person plural participle.

In the local Vanuatu language this is pronounced 'Yumi Yumi Yumi' (Check out the link if you don't believe me) Which is not the first thing that pops into one's head when one thinks of the Provos. Not even when gazing on the highly flattering pic adorning Mary Lou's election posters.

What are the chances of changing the Shinners' nickname to the Yummies? It could work for them as they get more touchy feely and voter friendly.
