    Hi Lads

Just to let you know that over at www.club-siemens.com they have picture and specs for the new phones announced the other day.

    See here

    So what do you think?

I would love an SL65 but the lack of bluetooth is not good.

I've been sorely tempted to bin my nokia for a sl55, this looks even better. Shame about bluetooth as you say though :(

    Still tempting tho...

    Hi,

At first when I saw that phone I thought that it might be all looks and not much quality but then after reading the spec. I saw that it's far more advanced than the top of the line phones in the shops at the moment, After reading the spec of the sl65 I was surprised at it's whopping 11Mb Media storage and it's array of connectivity ( except bluetooth :dunno: ) :

    Bluetooth: No
    IrDA: Yes
    GPRS: Class 10
    USB: Yes
Built-in data and fax modem: Yes
    Data exchange with PC: Yes

5 out of 6 isn't bad at all

Here are a few pictures of the phone... It's quite impressive looking:

    Ebony Front
    Irvory Front
    Ivory Back
    Perspective of Ivory and Ebony
    Ivory front with screen on
Side perspective of Ivory and Ebony with sliders down

I can make an educated geuss at the price which this phone will sell for, this phone is not your avarage run of the mill phone so we can expect somthing of a surprise. When the Sl55 came out it was approximatly €335 euro, this phone is far more advanced than it's predecessor, with a built in camera etc.

After looking over this phone it's kinda reminds me of the Sagem myV-55. Before you rush into this expensive transaction have a look at the Sagem. I just got the Sagem and it's quite a package for only €150 on the Vodafone Network. Here is the spec. put in comparison to the SL65.

Ok, your right looks wise, the siemens wins, but would you be willing to shell out a couple of hundred more for looks??
