i was just wondering what heatsink is suitable for the abit is7 as the fan on it at the moment is very noisy and i want to change it. i was looking at the zalmann ZM-NB47J and the ZM-NB32J but looking at what sir random had to do http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=151802&highlight=northbridge+heatsink , i was thinking of getting the zalmann ZM-NB32J but the only disadvantage is that once the heatsink is stuck on that you cant remove it and i was wondering if this will cause any problems in the future. does anyone know where i might be able to buy these? cheers

    Umm places to get them....

    www.hitide.ie
    www.pc-look.com
    www.jes-computer.de

Instead of the NB32 you could get the NB47 and some thermal adheisive....... that will do the same job except is a slightly better cooler. Cant tell you which way to go on this one, that thread you linked to has some good info.
