Wanted WPC Tickets - How

    Jaysus I' didn't have a clue this was on.

    I meet 'the DevilFish' in merion square this after noon beside the Amercian College.

    How do I get tickets to go to the WPC in the Merrion,

    I don't see what all the fuss over tickets is. I won two tickets on Newstalk 106 for the Saturday afternoon session. I just turned up at he Merrion Casino and I was asked to fill in a membership form. The guy then said to go upstairs as they had the list of people who had won tickets. When I got there there was nobody checking names, the seats were already full but I was told I could stand at the back. I did eventually get a seat when a group of guys left. But the entire afternoon I didn't see any checking of names or tickets.

    Other than the haphazard seat assignments system etc. how would you rate the spectating experience?
    Did they have video screens/commentators etc?

    I have won a couple of seats myself for the final tomorrow.

    The whole system is crappy, try finding poker pros and drinking with them instead its much more fun.

    I spent the last hour with Dave 'the fish' cheering Jimmy White on in a max of 3 hands in the hour. Stop, interview, Hand, Stop, interview etc....

    Getting them to stake you in a 1000 euro starstudded game is even more fun. I still cant process what happened just yet. I'll write a journal about it later today but right now I need breakfast.
