    is it possible to add a couple of extra option to this, ie 50 - 60, or would it be too taxing on the system?

    The default stays for now, but if you want 50 or 60 posts per thread then you can alter the appropriate value in your usercp.

    40 is the max it will allow me to have in the usercp.

    ya, its not the actual default i meant it a change to the number of options in the usercp that i was impling.
