What are the minimun processes windows XP needs to function. Like when I enter task manager how many processes should their be and what are they.

14 for a fresh install anymore are programs or services you have activated.

Every process ever on that website, jsut enter name of process into google and that website will be the 1st hit. Can find out what each and everyone does.
