Minidisc batteries?

I only use my minidisc for work, so it's always plugged in. But I decided to actually listen to some music on it, and found to my dismay that the battery had run out, and can't be recharged. It says it's a Sony Walkman rechargeable battery. Anyone know if just any battery will work in it, or I have to get a special one,…

Is it a rectangle battery? if so you can get em in dixons or the sony centre

No, looks like an AA battery. Hmm. Wonder who sells Sony stuff.... bought it in the Virgin place, but that's gone, I think.

Any AA battery will do, either throwaway or rechargeable.
